So this is why I'm still up at 04:47 in the morning...

I'm trying to get a cell to produce a yes or no output to the following question:

If A1 says Blue and D1 is higher than B1, then say yes in E1, but if A1 says Green and D1 is lower than C1, say Yes, otherwise, say No.

...

I have tried a combination of nested functions, and I can't seem to get the right combination for it to work. Any help anyone has on how I make that happen would be great!! I have attached the s/s of the screenshot above.

=IF(OR(AND(A1="blue",D1>B1),AND(A1="green",D1<C1)),"yes","no")

what about the 2nd set of criteria for GREEN?
