Count number of days since certain data was input.

I am trying my hand at creating my own Flight Hour tracker to use. I have already used solved posts on here to create drop down menus that are going to be very useful since I will be using this on my ipad once created.
My current issue I have read through similar posts but unable to figure out how to apply it to my situation.

I want to be able to track the number of days since I flew different modes of flight.
They are the Items listed in columns "H" and "J" Labeled D and NVG.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to explain the logic. I don't understand how you achieved your results in the columns. Need a detailed explanation.

Im sorry I wasn't clear, but thank you for the reply.

Every day that I fly I input data from that flight across each row starting with the date.
The data in column H and J I input manually each flight if I flew in that mode,

I need to be able to quickly see how many days it has been since I flew a D or NVG mission.
If it would be simpler, maybe the formula uses a combination of the date in column A with reference to if that date row has any data in the "D" or "NVG" column.
