Hello,
NOTE: this attached test.xls book has 1 macro, it needs to be there for the book to function thus allowing you to see what
my problem is. IT IS SAFE and also unprotected.
I have cut everything unnecessary from my regular workbook to make this test.xls and only has a very short data sheet (10 rows), my
regular workbook has over 8000 rows in the data sheet (sheet2 called data)
I have attached a sample excel (97) workbook with 2 sheets.
1st. sheet (LookUp) is the overview sheet for looking at the data.
2nd. sheet (data) contains all the data presented to the first sheet. This sheet comes from an excel export from quickbooks (2007).
The first sheet is where I look to make part purchases, I can see everything needed to make my order.
The problem I am having is in the area at the bottom part of sheet1 (lookup) where the data is arranged by
lowest price to highest price. Everything is working very well except for one problem ( 2 columns ) again lower part of sheet 1.
What is intended is when the cost sorting happens the associated company and part number should also sort correctly.
It does ONLY with costs are different. If costs are same I only get the first instance, the second or third end up with
the same part number and company name as the first cost find.
I have made notes inside the workbook to also help best I can.
By looking at and operating the sheet you will see the problem.
Thanks
