Hi,
I'm trying to get a formula that would automatically calculate what is greater (5% or £300). The scenario is if i have a value say £7,000; would 5% of £7,000 be greater than £300? The 5% and the £300 will not change but the £7,000 will change.
Hope this makes sense?

To calculate5 percent of £7000 (with 7000 in A1):
=0.5*A1
Then add the test:
=(0.5*A1)>B1
where B1 contains 300.
Answer will be TRUE or FALSE.
