    Vlookup problem

    Dear One
    In below attached file 2 sheets are there one is HYD-SUM and two is NEW RES.
    I want in HYD-SUM in Y column branch and class wise str as per NEW RES sheet. kindly resolve the problem.

    Please add about 10-15 rows of expected results (manually) to your workbook and post again.

    Try this in cell Y3 and fill down.
    Formula: copy to clipboard
    =VLOOKUP(E3,'NEW RES'!$D$8:$R$15,MATCH(I3,'NEW RES'!$D$7:$R$7,0),FALSE)
