How to add $ in one row straight

i am having a difficulties adding $. the reason i need to add $ is because when i sort based on country - the formula doesnt match what it should be.
i have around 50 coloumns and almost 1000rows, if i have to add $ by pressing f4 each cell, it will take forever.

i tried highlight all the cell in one row, and then press f4, but nothing changes.
