Rank and sum formula combined

I wanted to know how to rank exports to a country by region by summing their values and then putting it in a table.

I have attached for reference an example. The table is what I want to see. I have tried the aggregate formula but that was not working for me. The thing that confuses me is getting to sum the values. Do you have to do it in 2 steps?

I would probably just add a helper column, do the sums as needed, then rank on that - keep it simple
