    CF help with vacation hours caculated at the end of a pay period.

    If vacation is in column A anywhere, I need K21 to format to add all vacation time used in a time period, after it is added weekly in column K.

    Try this:

    =SUMIF(A4:A15,"Vacation",K4:K15)

    Please update your forum profile with your current version of Excel.

    Yes, it does calculate in your spreadsheet.

    Thank you very much. It did work after I removed the drop box that I was manually selecting hours.
    As usual I stand corrected AliGW.

    Please note that this is not a question about conditional formatting, so you should not have used CF in your thread title (it's a bit misleading).
