In my spreadsheet, I have a column G that shows the date that someone ended a project. I need to figure out an Average formula to tell me the average amount of people that completed the project in only January.
Please provide a workbook with some sample data. I also suggest you put your data in an Excel Table.

Try the averageifs formula:
