Calculating Percentage +

Hi Guys please help. What is the formula if I have a drop down list with number's 1-5. If I select 5 it should give me 40% since that is the weight of the grade. Same as with 4 it should give me 30%, then 3 should give me 20%, then 2 should give me 10% and 1 should give me 0. I wanted it to be a value of percentage not just a text so that when I do sum with the rest of the criteria's it will be counted.

It's not clear whether you're wanting the drop down cell with numbers 1-5 to show instead of the number the percentages, or whether the percentage is in another cell.

If the latter then if the dropdown is A1, then in say B1, formatted as a %, use the formula
