Find names nd return where they work

    69036464_433942313890427_4778716325906219008_n.jpg

I have to work on a spreadsheet which contain a table formed of people's names, people's company name and number of hours worked. Then those names are listed on a new column in a different order and I need to find the company's name and number of hours worked using an Excel function. I have no idea what function to use. Can you please help me ?

Thanks a lot for your great help !!

Re: I don't know what function to use

Attaching a photograph of a screen is not much use to us - it would be better if you attached a sample Excel workbook.

To do this, click on Go Advanced (below the Edit Window) while you are composing a reply, then scroll down to and click on Manage Attachments and the Upload window will open. Click on Browse and navigate to (and double-click) the file icon that you want to attach, then click on Upload and then on Close this Window to return to the Edit window. When you have finished composing your post, click on Submit Post.

Don't try to use the Paperclip icon, as it doesn't work on this forum.

Take a look at the SUMIFS function for this.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete

I have changed your title to something more descriptive of your problem

Sounds to me like you need to take a look at the VLOOKUP function for this?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
