    Indirect Invoice Amounts

    Hi,

    On the Status sheet I need the INVOICE AMOUNT but these are calculated on the Lookup Invoice sheet which are only done when the particular Invoice Number is present on that sheet.

    Is there a work around with formulas to achieve this please?

    Does anyone have a suggestion on perhaps a helper column to store the invoice totals?

    Thanks for the help but I was hoping to have all totals on the Status sheet from all Invoice Numbers. I put what should be the amounts for each Invoice.

    The value comes from the Lookup Invoice sheet based on the Invoice Number entered in cell H3. As you change the Invoice Number from 101, 102, 103 the value in H44 changes in the Lookup Invoice sheet. There are many steps to get to that value.

    But you will need to explain the steps.

    As you have only one reusable invoice sheet, Excel will need to take the value from elsewhere, as what's on that sheet is ephemeral.

    If you want it to be taken from that sheet, then we are back to VBA, and of course you don't really want that.

    There are so many calculations and is overwhelming for me to figure it out in one formula. If it isn't possible I will make a note and manually copy and paste when each invoice is created.

    I really do appreciate experienced help because this may be beyond my capabilities at the moment.

    If you don't want to use VBA to write the invoice data to the record sheet, then that's what you will have to do.
