Data Validation data dependent

In column A I have 3 different groups. Construction, Engineering, Purchasing. Column B has the various position titles. In cell G7 I have a data validation to list the 3 different groups. When I select the specific group, I would like to have another list in H7 that will only list all the position titles that correspond with the group selected in G3.

I was hoping I could accomplish this within 1 table and not have to chop the data up.

Any suggestions?

Hi Keith,

Try this attachment. I setup a named range with an offset formula to extract the position information. The in H7 used the Indirect function.

PickFrom =OFFSET(Sheet1!$A$1,MATCH(Sheet1!$G$7,Sheet1!$A:$A,0)-1,1,COUNTIF(Sheet1!$A:$A,Sheet1!$G$7))
