This is my first post and I openly admit I have no knowledge of formulae. I would therefore really appreciate some help organizing my monthly budget statement to make life easier.
I don't know why but the upload button doesn't appear to do anything so I'm unable to upload my worksheet. I've therefore attached a partial image instead.

From the image of the worksheet I’m asking if there is a formula that could be placed into I 4 that would extract the sum total of all the items of the same name in the “Description” column, and also place it’s "Transaction Type" name in G 4?
Ditto for all the others.
For example: all TNI’s would result a total of: £69.15 in I 4 and it’s type “Contactless Payment” in G4.
