how to filter pivot for "Contains X" and "Doesn't Contain Y"

I have a pivot of expenses, with hundreds of thousands of lines of data. In my description field I'm looking for certificates we've bought, but not Birth certificates. For birth certificates the descriptions are like "Birth Certificate", "Birth Cert for Mary", "out of state Birth Certificate", "Duplicate Birth Certificate", etc.

So, I want to filter for "Contains Certificate" but "Doesn't Contain Birth". How do I do that?
    I know I'm not stupid, but I suspect I'm a lot stupider than I think I am

Add a column to the source data with a formula?

    Hi

I suppose you can use your data table which allows you to do this kind of filter.

    Slicer don't work?

    Shg and Jose,
The data is remote, so note easy to formulize. What I did, in this instance, was to filter for "certificate", then copy my pivot and paste as values, then filter that for "Doesn't contain birth".

Jose, how would I do it with slicers?

    Hi @jomili

I'm sorry, Slicers do not help in this situation.

Worst, the option 'Allow multiple filters per field' for pivot table, do not retain the filter 'not contain' birth when we, in search box, type 'certificate'.
