Multiple match in a table

Hi all, I hope I can explain this clearly.

We have a list of competitors who select to go into various events.

A list is manually created with a list of players and the two type of events they may enter. The players name can be repeated multiple times in this list. I have called this the "Data list" sheet.

However, their name only occurs once on the "Sorted" sheet. I need to complete the greyed area with a formula.

I can't see how I can get an index match (or index match match) to achieve what I need.

Any suggestions.
