Could you please attach this example as an excel file? Just this, no need to see the rest of the information. There might be an issue with the formatting for the numbers, which is why the sum's result is 0. Maybe there the actual numbers are formatted as text?
attached file, the total would be 996 but it is showing 0, I have all data with same format, comma is showing instead of decimal
Alright, so there are two things you can do here that work quite well. You could either make sure your Office has the decimal separator be a comma, rather than a period. My Excel has the decimal separator set to be a period, so when you try to sum values (even numeric values) that are not properly typed for Excel to recognize them as numbers, it will not add anything up.
The other thing you can do is select the four cells, and replace the commas for periods. To do this, you can first select the 4 cells, then hit CTRL+H which brings up the Find and Replace prompt. On the "Find what" box type the comma, and on the Replace with, type a period. Once you type this, click on Replace all. This should solve your sum issue.
I cannot replace comma with decimal, if there are any other way with formula, it will be best for me.
How aboutFormula:

wow.....Fluff13 you are the best
You're welcome & thanks for the feedback
