The sum of a column between the same repeating text string

    Hi,
I am analyzing the data for a production line and I wanted help finding a way of summing how much produced per shutdown. In one column I have the word "shutdown" and in other columns I have date and how much produced on that day. The trend is erratic and there isn't a continuous cycle of days per shutdown, sometimes the process can go weeks without a shutdown, leading to a larger value produced per shutdown.
So I need to know the sum of produce produced per shutdown, so I can plot this throughout the year and see how production changes per shutdown.
    Any help would be appreciated
    Tom

Attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

    H2:

    copied down.

    Then use Conditional Formatting formula:

    to format the fornt white.

Should leave you with the result you want with intermediate values "hidden".
