    Formula to add days with holiday & weekend

    Hello,

    I am looking for a formula to add days if there is (are) holiday between the pay date. We currently get pay 2 times in a month. Normally we take 15 workdays to process the payroll. If there is(are) holiday(s), the payroll process date will be extend for the number of day of the holiday. I am attaching a sample file here.

    You have the right formula, you just need to have the holidays in the formula differently.. you mist the optional parameter for holidays. You need that to be an array (or list) with dates to not take into account as workday, so in your example column B and C.
    (what you cannot do is put a number of holidays in, you cannot say 2 instead of B4:C4 as number of days)

    O, wow. Roel Jongman ,

    Is it that simple???? I tried so many if, then 5 feet long formulas today and didn't get it. Wow. Amazing. Thanks for the help.
