    Cumulative - Future Value Removal

    Hi,

I will try to explain this best I can.

(See attached), I have setup an automated feed by "hour - cumulative", for each hour which passes the volumes auto populate.

However as you can see this current volume persists until the end of the day, I would appreciate the help if a formula can be create to remove the duplicate persist until the data becomes unique for the hour?

I have provided in the attached the actual version now, top graph, and what I would like to aim for in the 2nd (bottom) graph.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Steven

Re: Cumulative - Future Value Removal

What about duplicates in rows 6 and 7 [value 32 is repeated]?
How odes the data populate? Does it add one number every hour?
If so, what should happen in hour 4 when 32 comes in and hour 3 was already 32?

Re: Cumulative - Future Value Removal

    Hi Modytrane,

This is very valid, and someone of a stumbling block it looks.

The data populates via a Google Analytics automated feed, so there are changes that the volume(s) for some proceeding hours may duplicate which would cause issues in identifying what is a true duplicate and what is not.

I'll have to just explain the graph with a "processing caveat".

    Thanks for your help.

    Thanks

If you know which hour is supposed to be last one then you can delete all entries after that.
OR if you know that anytime after 4PM, if values start to repeat, you can ignore them.
OR you can program such that if any value repeats for more than 4 times then remove all but one such entry.
