Last value in a row and more

Hi!
I am stuck, I don t know what kind of function to use in the A2 cell on the picture below.

What I want to see in the A2 cell is a value from the row 1 (a-l). However, I need that exact value which has the same coloumn, where the last filled cell in row 2 can be found.
So for A2 the value would be 'a', for A4 'g'.
My idea would be to find the last filled cell in the row, get the letter of the coloumn, search the coloumn in row 1, and get the value from the cell in row 1. Unfortunately, I am not so highly trained, could you help me?
If that is any better I could exchange the filled cells to cells that I write an x into. I used that in rows 7-10.
