Good morning,
I was wondering if there's a formula that will show a word when a cell turns a particular color.
So if I fill cell A1 with green cell B1 will say complete. is this possible,
Any help is great!
Thank you

If the shading is done by conditional formatting... yes. If it is done "randomly" then you will need a macro/VBA as cell shading is not a value.

Cell shading is the term if I wanted to learn more about it?

Cell fill is probably better for Google purposes.
Try this. Not perfect... but I don't do VBA.
Shade any of the numbers in B green. Then F9 to refresh, or change any cell, anywhere.
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I'm working on it now it's definetely VBA.
Thanks for your help!

Please don't quote whole posts, especially when you are responding to the one immediately preceding your own - it's just clutter. It's OK to quote if you are responding to a post out of sequence, but limit quoted content to a few relevant lines that makes clear to whom and what you are responding. Thanks!
