Hi Guys,
I'm trying to create a cut list from a set of random values. I've tried various functions and formulas but can't quite get it right. Basically, i need a total qty of all the same lengths in the columns.
I've attached a screenshot for reference.

Thanks fro your reply Avk. I also need to populate the Length if what its counting which is where i get stuck. As these numbers will change all the time and i cant do a fixed countif . So like i need to countif (qty) at ( Length counted).
It may help us in our attempt to help you, if you could upload the spreadsheet from which the screenshot was taken.
To upload a sample workbook click on the GO ADVANCED button below the Quick Reply window and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
Please manually include all of your expected results, I am assuming that you want to count the occurrence of each unique length and not just the first one.

This sounds like classic pivot table material...
Maybe fiddle with that.
