    Cost Minus a Percentage

    How can I do 45-10% in excel, please see attached I need Cost - Percentage and the answer should be in column C.

    =A2*B2 -> result 4.5

    =A2*(1-B2) -> result 40.5

    How about...

    =A2*(1-B2)
