Question Need formula to set pace

I tried to search for what I need and I couldn't find exactly what I needed.

Let's say I have a goal of 700 for the year. I want to know:

    - Where I am for the month (based on today's date) for this goal (so today is the 26th of October and there are still 5 days left so I can't account for a full month - 10 months, quite yet)
    - Where I am for the year (based on today's date) for the goal

    Example:
    - If I am at 575 today (October 26) and goal is 700 (by the end of the year) am I on pace to meet goal and how much +/- do I need to be at goal. What is the formula to calculate this?
    - Same as above but for the year.

    - I like to see how much this month I am ahead/behind (or on track)
    - I like to see how much this year I am head/behind (or on track)

    Thanks in advance.

Here is a worksheet with multiple formulas that may help you decide how you want to calculate.

I do have a question, what is the days to month end. It says 305 but would it be 5? There are 5 days left to month end?

    This is the formula =EOMONTH(1/1/2018,9)

I should have titled the header as Days in year at month end. The formula counts the days from beginning of the year in this case to the end of the month.
