Need to highlight cell when value match value from a list.

    Hello all,

Please go easy on me as I'm very much a novice when it comes to excel.

I am looking of a way to highlight in Columns B to L any value that matches the values in Column A. I have tried conditional formatting and adding a few different formulas I have found online but i cant get the right result.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

    Highlight B2:L1137 > Conditional Formatting > New Rule > Use a formula
    =COUNTIF($A:$A,B2)
Format: Fill color of your choice > OK > OK

Use conditional formatting...New Rule / Use Formula to determine which cells to format / in the BOX below 'Format values where this formula is true:' put in the following formula (without the quotation marks "=ISTEXT(VLOOKUP(B2,$A$2:$A$347,1,FALSE))" , then you need to pick a format COLOR to highlight where your duplicates are and you should be all set.
