    Add percentages to a workbook

    I have a work book of costs from Suppliers that I use at work, and I need to add percentage increases to it. Each Supplier has a different percentage. So for instance, on the chart below I need to add 5.13% to Bn, 2.28% to Do, 6.7% to Lo and 3% to Ni. Then I need to repeat this multiple times over the spreadsheet.

    Please add manually calculated sample results to the workbook and post it again to make it clear what you are aiming for.

    Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. I have add more sections that need the percentages adding to if that helps.

    Not clear idea, if you enter required result (manually) in respective cell, its more helpful of both.

    I need to add 5.13% to every column that has the header Bn etc.

    No, you haven't clarified at all, sorry.

    Please manually mock up the workbook to show the results you want to see - we need to see a before and after.

    For example BN. In "E3" 421, "I3" 442, "M3" 465 ... so on

    Hi, sorry if I haven't explained it very well. I have added a 2nd tab to the spreadsheet, so that one contains the base cost + the percentage.

    I will.

    One thing though. Please can you explain how when bn is in the formulae it knows what percentage rate bn is. I am only a novice on excel.

    Go to the Formula ribbon and look at Named Ranges - AVK has set up one named range for each value.
