How can I view changes in a table that changes monthly?

    Hi,

Can anyone please help me with the formula to view up / down value changes in a monthly published table, where the items in the first column may change (for example a column of products), and in the corresponding columns, are a list of values (for example, price)?

I have attached an example spreadsheet with the changing 'products' highlighted in red, and where the values may change on a monthly basis.

The idea is that each month, it is easy to see what values have either decreased or increased from the month before hand at a glance.

    Many Thanks!

It would be better to have all your data on one sheet with a date column.

If you then want to display that in separate tabs and do calculations, you can do whatever you like.

    Just my opinion.

I appreciate the response. The challenge is that these tables will be extensive, in the order of thousands of rows & around 50+ columns?

Based on this I am proposing adding columns to each table that show the values from the previous month using:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

My idea is all data in one sheet with adding month column.
In some other column "G" extract unique item with formula "G3"
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Horizontally value & month with formula "H3"
