Trend formula with Some Additional Formatting Changes

    Dear all Excel Guru,

    I need your help!

I'm trying to create a formula and make any conditional formatting changes to show the trend of value over time.

Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Trend
    1.5 1.6 1.5 1.4 1 0.5 -4 (formula)
    0.5 1 0.7 1.4 1.7 1.75 +3 (formula)

Jan~ Jun data are all values and Trend Column is the formula that I need help with. I'd like the formula to look at the historic data in the same row and see if it has been going up or down how many consecutive times. (i.e. -4 or +3 in the example above). I'm also trying to see how I can make the negative consecutive numbers to show negative sign (-) in red and the positive consecutive numbers to show positive sign (+) in green.

If my question is too confusing, let me know. I can answer any questions you guys might have. df

    Thank you guys in advance.
