    Calculation issue with multiple conditions

    Hello all!
I am currently trying to calculate hours spent on several tasks as deemed required by individual departments across several locations. I use to be pretty good at this but unfortunately my work is more technical writing these days and less functionality. I have tried IF(AND functions and If(Index... however, I am obviously well out of practice. I appreciate any assistance/guidance you might be able to provide. I will include an image and a sample file in hopes it helps. Thank you!

Re: Calculation issue with multiple conditions

First off I would like to thank you both for your response. I have tried both methods and both work in part. "Yr1" & "Yr2" seem to calculate out correctly using both methods. However, when extending the requirement to include bi-annual "B" or tri-annual "T" it no longer works. I would need it to calculate both annual "A" and one of the for mentioned training periods (B or T). I have tried implementing "OR" functions in conjunction with the above suggested methods. Both get me closer to what I am looking for so THANK YOU for the refreshing sense of hope lol. If anyone has any suggestions I am open to anything at this point.
