Thumbs up Copy + Paste Values as a formula built into an IF function

    Hi team,

Thank you for your help in the past. If you have a min, please find my request below.

I have a hardcoded URL in Column C. I need the URL to be COPY + PASTE VALUES (hardcoded) IF Column LY says "open" and column MC is >3.

=if(AND(LY33="open",MC33>2),C33,IF(ISBLANK(LY33),"NOT OPENED","OPENED BUT NOT ENOUGH TIME"))

My only issue is that it pulls in C33, but as a reference, not as a hardcoded URL. The Zap I am making does not read the cell as a URL.

    Thank you again,
    Alex

Hello and welcome to the forum.

A cell can either contain a formula or a hard-coded value, not both.

    What you want requires VBA.

Excel, yes. Google Sheets, no idea.

That being said, VBA is not my specialty so I won't be able to help with that.
Just wanted to let you know that what you're looking to do cannot be done automatically through a formula.

    There is a Hyperlink function...

=if(AND(LY33="open",MC33>2),HYPERLINK(C33,"DisplayNameOfURL"),IF(ISBLANK(LY33),"NOT OPENED","OPENED BUT NOT ENOUGH TIME"))

    Good point Jonmo!

While the output of the formula still won't be a hard-coded value, you will be able to click on it and have the same result as if it were.

Re: Copy + Paste Values as a formula built into an IF function

I guess I need it hardcoded into a cell on the condition that something occurs (open + 3 days).

Maybe there is a way to get a macro to auto-run on two conditions being met?
