    Question Simple search bar to search data in column

    Guys! I struggled a lot to find a simple way to put a search bar on top of the column where we can type in and system show us the matching text in that column and only the rows with the data shall be filtered out.

    Appreciate your help in advance.

    On the ribbon, select Data, then Filter, then select in the filter the items you wish to see.

    I appreciate your answer but i want something much simpler and more like searching on the web. This way we need to open the filter then find that search area which is too tiny to locate and type in there. Its complicated. I want to make something simple and like web search box, where you can start typing and the matching rows are being filtered. I know am asking much but as you know we have to feed customers everything. They dont want complications so have to make things much easier for them.

    Your alternative is a VBA solution. Sorry, but I don't work with MACs, so I cannot help as not all VBA on PCs are compatible with iOS. Perhaps you can google for a solution or just wait here.

    Thanks Alan! am not expert in IT or excel either so I think it will be a bit difficult for me and hope someone can recommend a good solution.
