Depending on the value of 3 cells (Y,Y,Y;Y,N,Y; etc) display an answer

Hi

Wonder if anyone can help please, this is my first post so thanks in advance.

I have asked 3 questions for which there are several possible answers and depending on which combination, i need a single cell to display an answer

The table below shows the possible answer combinations and the what result i would like to display

Q1 Q2 Q3 ANSWER
Y Y Y 1
Y N Y 2
Y N N 3
N N N 4
N N Y 5
N Y Y 6


Any ideas please? My VBA isnt great so if possible a forumla?

With a small reference table for all the possible combinations and scores

you can build a vlookup formula to find the value for the combination of answers on that line..
