    keeping cell blank until certain criteria is meet

    Hi All

    i have a formula in cell n4 =IF(ISTEXT(M5),TODAY(),"PENDING") but i need the cell to stay blank if nothing is entered in the row any help i have attached a copy of the workbook

    try =IF(M4="","",IF(ISTEXT(M4),TODAY(),"PENDING"))
