=DATEVALUE(A1)

You can put this formula in C1:
=IF(FIND("/",A1)>3,DATE(LEFT(A1,4),SUBSTITUTE(MID(A1,6,2),"/",""),SUBSTITUTE(RIGHT(A1,2),"/","")),0+A1)
then copy down as required.
