Question Lookup data by date and cell?

    Hello all!

I've come to the site many times in the past and normally have found what I'm looking for but not the case this time and a bit confused. I have a workbook with multiple tabs, one tab I have call center agents with their Phone metrics (handle time, survey scores etc.) and on another tab I have their schedule adherence percentages. Is what I am looking to do is pull their adherence percentage and put into a cell in the tab with their phone metrics. example. pull john henry's adherence for 3/18/18 and insert it into a cell in john henry's metrics for 3/18/18. I know it's possible but a bit confused. I know I would have to lookup based on two criteria's one being the name of agent and the other being the date. Not sure how to attack this and any help would be appreciated.

Will you please attach a sample Excel workbook? Nobody wants to have to recreate your data from scratch.

    1. Make sure that your sample data are REPRESENTATIVE of your real data. The use of unrepresentative data is very frustrating and can lead to long delays in reaching a solution.

    2. Make sure that your desired results are also shown (mock up the results manually).

    3. Make sure that all confidential data is removed or replaced with dummy data first (e.g. names, addresses, E-mails, etc.).

    4. Try to avoid using merged cells as they cause lots of problems.

Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment, so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

Please pay particular attention to point 2 (above): without an idea of your intended outcomes, it is often very difficult to offer appropriate advice.

Attached is the file, I need to pull the adherence percentage from column "D" on the Adherence Tab and put it into the Phone Data Tab Column "AQ", according to the Dates and Agent Name.
