error sumif

Hello forum

I have the below code which works great until i get a error

=SUMIF(sheet1!L:L,A4,sheet2!I:I)

This works for the error is i am summing on teh same sheet but i cant get the above code to run when it's on anothwer sheet

=SUMIF(G1:G30,"<>#N/A")

Hello etaf

I cant upload the sheet as it's massive.

Basically column A is by month and column B is adding up everything in that month.

Sheet 1 contains the data as a list, in column L is the date and in Column I is the value, not all lines have a value in column I which is producing a error so when trying to SUMIF it wont add up as there is a error in the list.

Upload a small extract.

Here you go , i have done a smaple for you to look at

try this
=SUMIFS(Sheet1!I:I,Sheet1!L:L,A4,Sheet1!I:I,"<>"&"#N/A")

And the winner is Finalazy

thanks alot for that works perfectly, i did find some extemely long ways to do the same thing but yours is short and to the point.
