finding certain words within text

I've got a workbook with about 85,000 rows. Column A of the workbook contains a name, B = date, and C contains the text to be searched. See attached example.

After that, I've got columns with the words to find in C.

I'm using this formula, but it isn't working:

=CLEAN(ISNUMBER(SEARCH($D$8,C9,C9)))

I was hoping that the CLEAN function would fix the problem but it doesn't

Can you suggest a solution? Thanks
