filling formula down to last row

I've got a workbook with about 85,000 rows of data. This data is in a range (created via a mysql data connection)

To the right of this range I've got some formulas. I'd like to fill the formulas down to the last row.

In the past when I'd type in a formula next to a range, it would automatically fill down to the last row. But in this case its not doing so.

I know there are macros to do this kind of work, but if possible I'd rather use a formula.

    Any advice?

    Thanks

Hi jrtaylor- You were probably working with Tables, which do automatically fill formulas down. If the data in the next column is continuous (no blanks), just double-click on the "drag handle" (the tiny green box on the bottom-right corner of the selected cell). Excel will auto-fill down to the last contiguous data row.

If the data has gaps, then select the top row containing the formulas, press CTRL+C to copy, drag the scroll box down to the bring the last row on to the screen, then hold down shift while selecting the last cell in your paste area. Now paste.

You cannot "copy" formulas using a formula. If the formulas are/is next to a column of filled data, dbl click the bottom-right corner of the 1st formula, and it should copy all the way down for you
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
