Care to explain a bit more what you are trying to do?

I create a worksheet which will be used by many people. I don't want that anyone can change the widht of the columns to keep the page format.
But it has to be possible to change the row height and of course to write something in the cell.

OK - it'll definitely be VBA if it's possible at all. I'll move this thread.
You could try to Protect the sheet, and leave the Format Rows option unchecked?
