Perhaps this will be of some help.
I inserted a 'Qtr.' column (B) that populates based on a table in column AA:AB the last argument of the AVERAGEIFS function references the value in column B.
Note: I set ranges for evaluation purposes, it should still work with whole columns (but my old laptop freezes when evaluating that way).
