I'm trying to make a self-generating list, and I'm struggling with the automation part. In my "List" tab, I've named all the lists in Name Manager. Then, in the "Example Summary" tab, you can choose "Region" in cell B2 via the data validation feature, and when you click on the drop-down for B3, you can choose the different regions from the "List" via an indirect formula in the data validation feature.
The part I'm struggling with is how to automatically generate the four different areas under Mississippi in cell B7. I want B8 to say Jackson, B9 to say Hattiesburg, B10 to say Columbus, etc. Also, if I were to change the drop-down in cell B2 to Area and change B3 to Jackson, I want B8 to say 12345, B9 to say 12346, etc.
I would greatly appreciate any help! I tried following a table guide and some combination of index formulas, but I haven't been able to work it out. I would prefer not to use VBA.
