SumIF works, SumIFS doesn't

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I want to sum the Sep-Dec values where Position = 00079571 and New Acct = 1001. I can do a SumIF for either condition and it works fine, but when I try to do a SUMIFS for both conditions I get a value error. I use SumIFs often, so this one has me scratching my head. I'd appreciate help.

=SUMIFS(G9:J59,C9:C59,C9,K9:K59,K10)
=SUMIF(C9:C59,C9,G9:J59)
=SUMIF(K9:K59,K10,G9:J59)
