need help for taking selective data from a columm and put into another columm

It depends on the format of each of the dates. Is the first date an actual date or just a text value? Do you want the second to be an actual date or a text value?

I expect you probably want to change a proper date to a text value, but here are all the options, just in case:

Date to text value
Use this:

Just change the format of the cell to the custom format yymmdd

Text value to text value
