Two workbooks--Wkbook 1 records all banking transactions for over 500 bank accounts and categorizes them with a macro. Wkbook 2 is a log of all transactions that were categorized incorrectly with the correct category identified. Currently changing the categories in Wkbook 1 manually!!!!! Must be a better way! I've tried to do my own nested vlookups or using index/match & can't figure it out.
What I need to match the account #, amount, and description. If those match, then I need the formula to return the correct category. A regular vlookup won't work as there could be thousands of transactions with the same bank account number. Any help would be immensely appreciated!
