I have a spreadsheet that contains no. of shipments per dates.
Please help me out to provide the correct formula on how to get the desired data.

A simple Pivot Table can give you a good answer without using any formulas. See the attached.

In C3, then drag down.
=COUNTIF($B$3:$B3,$B3)
Pl note
Array formula should be confirmed with Ctrl+Shift+Enter keys together.
If answere is satisfactory press * to add reputation.
