    Data validation Unique Name List With Multiple Column

    dear all..

    how to make formula in data validation with unique list name show :
    i have 3 group header ; City, Model, Type
    please, check my attachment file...

    any help much appreciated...

    This has the potential to get very messy. Already you have 2 x 10 combinations of first and second lists. It can be done, but it will be messy...

    However, there may be a workaround. How many rows (MAXIMUM) will you need to apply the DV to?

    VBA is the only way to go for a problem like yours... Check out Leo's approach. It's not my understanding of what you want, but it's a good start.

    DV for Type needs to be =TYPE (not =MODEL)!!!!
