    IF <0 formula

    Hi,

    Please could anyone advise on an appropriate solution to the following requirement?

    IF the value of E4 = greater than 0, THEN calculate the range of B19:B24 and provide the total (of B19:B24) in B26.

    Many thanks in advance

    Steve

    Re: IF <0 formula

    In B26 put this formula:

    =IF(E4>0,SUM(B19:B24),"")

    If E4 is not greater than zero, the result is blank.

    calculate the range of B19:B24 and provide the total (of B19:B24)
    I do not know what you mean by "calculate the range" but I am guessing you want the sum.

    Re: IF <0 formula

    Your post title says less than zero and what you wrote
    E4 = greater than 0
    makes it appear that you might want equal to or greater than zero so if that is the case then take Jeff's formula and tweak it to this... =IF(E4>=0,SUM(B19:B24),"")

    Thank you soo much for your time, that works well. Could you confirm if it is possible to get the result to = 0 (instead of blank) if E4>0? (there is another calculation reliant on the content of B26, therefore creating a blank result is causing an error)

    You keep contradicting yourself, but I think you mean this:

    =IF(E4>0,SUM(B19:B24),0)
