Formula needed to sum based on dates

On STATS W17:28 (CLOSED) is where formula is needed.
On SALES I6:1005, when “CL” is entered and E6:E1005 has the letter “B” entered,
for each time both of those requirements are met the formula will sum
the amount In the appropriate month in STATS W17:28 based on the amounts in SALES O6:1005

On STATS Y17:28 (CLOSED) is where formula is needed.
On SALES I6:1005, when “CL” is entered and E6:E1005 has the letter “S” entered,
for each time both of those requirements are met the formula will sum
the amount In the appropriate month in STATS Y17:28 based on the amounts in SALES O6:1005

hi there. input the desired results so that we don't have to second-guess if what we are doing is correct or not. you may look at my signature to upload an eg that is easier to understand. for your case, tell us what is W17:W28 supposed to show? i think you are not giving all the information too, W17:W28 will show the same answer based on your information given. so basing on column M, i THINK what you want to see is by month. for eg. is W17 supposed to show 0 because the only Status with "CL" and B/S with "B" are in row 7 and 12 in Sales worksheet. and the dates are in Aug. so is W24 for Aug supposed to show 600,000? if so, try this in W17:
=SUMIFS(SALES!O:O,SALES!I:I,"CL",SALES!E:E,$W$16,SALES!B:B,">="&M17,SALES!B:B,"<="&EOMONTH(M17,0))

the upload attachment must be done by going to Go Advanced. click on Manage Attachments. Choose file, upload and close the window.

hopefully, i did a correct guess. otherwise, i have wasted time coming up with something that does not help you. if i really guessed it wrongly, please upload something according to my recommendations. try to use the solution i have given and we'll help to advise what went wrong.

Ok, I did leave something out, sorry. I left out some info.

STATS W17:W28 is suppose to show the sum of SALES O6:O1005 and distributed into the proper months based on the dates entered into SALES P6:P1005 if the criteria in SALES I6:I1005 = "CL" and SALES E6:E1005 = "B"

Same formula needed for Y17:Y28 with the exception of E6:E1005 = "S"

Does that make sense?
