Extract a list by looking for criteria in two columns

    Hi all,

I need help with this excel files that looks at soccer fixtures in one sheet and extracts all the rows that match the team selected another sheet. I've gone so far as make it look on one column, but I need it to look in the other column as well.

So the output in Sheet "Extract" should be from rows 2,12,13,28. So the logic should be like this: look in column E, if it's not there, look in column F. If it's not there either, move to the next row. Bear in mind that the criteria is a variable, and I will have multiple extract sheets at the same time, with 3-4 teams. So adding helper columns to the fixtures sheet is ok as long as it is not tied to a specific criteria, in this case soccer team. Can it be done?

Thank you very much for your help!

Another way. Array entered in B7.

Just change the INDEX range references for the rest.
